Initiatives for Dependable Transaction
This section explains our measures to ensure that customers can make convenient and safe transactions.
Reinforce Safety in Internet Banking Transactions
Mizuho Bank is proactively enhancing its security measures by introducing "one–time passwords," among other things, in the Mizuho Direct Internet service for individual customers.
Measures to Prevent Damages from Financial Crimes to Individual Customers
In April 2008, Mizuho Bank started offering compensation for damages from the illegal use of stolen bankbooks or the Mizuho Direct Internet banking service. Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Trust & Banking have set up dedicated call centers to help victims of crimes committed against the Bank Transfer Fraud Relief Law.*
