Standards for Social Contributions and Environmental Issues
![]()
Basic Approach
Our basic stance on social contribution is to be a good corporate citizen in partnership with local communities. To achieve this, there must be close communication with the public and activities must be in line with social norms and expectations. Mizuho established the Standards for Social Contributions and Environmental Issues, and is moving ahead with continuous social contribution activities based on the changing times, as well as with environmental initiatives.
Social contribution activities are separated into seven classifications, and are evaluated and implemented after being comprehensively considered from various angles.
Environmental issues are being actively pursued, and are denoted by sustainable economic and social development.
